A new enemy, the Vaygr, now threatens Hiigara. Yet true peace eludes the beleaguered race. Unlike the first game, Homeworld 2 involves warfare between two very different factions, each with its own ships, technology, and tactics. Again, the game is played in enormous, three-dimensional space, but the interface has been enhanced to provide simpler control, especially for gamers familiar with more conventional real-time strategy.
